| Biography: | Peter has been doing genealogy in the UK since the early 1990s. He has researched his own family back to the late 1500s in some cases and has carried out research in England, Wales and Scotland during this time. He works fulltime for a telecommunications company, but spends a lot of his spare time doing family history research. He has carried out family history research on a professional basis since 2002 and in that time has assisted a wide range of customers. He is very familiar with the key genealogical resources in the UK, both online and offline, and well placed to advise on all aspects of UK research. Peter has an interesting family background. Peter was born in Sydney, Australia, of British parents and spent a lot of his childhood living in various countries in Africa, because his father was a Botany Professor at a number of tropical universities. Peter has traveled widely across Europe and to North America. Besides spending his time on family history research, Peter loves a game of Scrabble (usually online!) and he also sings in a local choir and has sung at various well known venues around the UK. | |||||

| Related Services: | Digital Photography The North East of England; anything of interest to the family historian including cities, towns, villages, churches, gravestones, our beautiful coastlines and moors, Hadrian’s Wall. Also houses where your ancestors lived. Local support to people visiting the area. This could include advice and guidance on travel options, places to stay and places to visit whilst in the area. I can also assist with travel arrangements and family reunions in the area and anything else that you might want to arrange during a visit to the North East of England. People Finder Using general research skills, I am willing and able to assist in locating possible living relatives. Success depends largely on having sufficient information to hand, but it is possible to trace a family tree forwards as well as backwards. For example, if somebody migrated to the USA in the 1950s, they may have lost touch with friends and family. Results as always are not guaranteed, but with sufficient information it is possible to locate people. I would never contact the people myself, as this is a private matter between the person looking and the people found. | |||||
